Have you ever asked you to write a letter of recommendation for an employee or colleague former employee? In general, a reference letter is used to help get a job, the application of higher education, or as a character reference for anyone seeking a government job. There is a significant demand, and well-written message can be caused by the candidate receives the offer he or she hopes.
In all likelihood, you will not be prompted to send an e-mail referring to someone who does not know or get along with very well. But, if you have any doubts about writing a recommendation for this person, you should reject the offer and the proposal to ask someone else. Just write a letter to someone who can really recommend it.
Letter should not be long and wordy. In the first sentence, and explain how you know this person (co-worker, business knowledge neighbor). When mentioning the common experiences as basketball coach himself, singing in the church choir or working on a project together in the office.
Think of two or three character traits essential to describe this person must be closely related to the reason for writing the reference. Are honest and reliable? They do not always finish what you start? While Mike may be the best guitar player to learn and can be read words written twenty years ago, chances are it is not why he gets a job. Think about what you would say if you are asked to make a toast to this person during a special occasion.
There is a short story describing how to deal with that person in a difficult situation that your letter stand out from the rest. Think in the incident that made you see that person in a new light. Finally, add a brief statement to send a letter to an end.
Here is a sample reference.
To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of reference to Mike Smith. I lived next to Mike for a period of ten years, and we both had worked in the neighborhood watch committee and XYZ for the last three years.
Mike is a pleasure to work with this committee. Campaign and design to compensate our neighborhood was a safer place as a catalyst to get our local government to install a traffic light at a busy intersection in our society. Once, during a power outage during peak hours, and risking life and limb, take the initiative to direct traffic Mike himself rather than risk an accident at this intersection.
Mike perseverance and genuine concern for his fellow citizens are perfect examples of why it is an honor for me to recommend him for a position within your company. I'm sure it will be a source of strength for the organization and will add to the continued success.
